My father occupied a certain position in a cooperative prior to his death in 2005. Upon his death, his membership in the coop was then transferred to me. Last month i received a letter from the current officers asking me to liquidate the alleged personal cash advances of my father. Am i obligated to liquidate? Should Prescription applies in any way? It has been 7 yrs and i do not have first hand knowledge of the cash advances should this be true.. Pls help!
