My lessee has terminated the contract and I issued a check for the full refund of deposit.The party to the contract was a corporation so I issued the check in the name of the corporation. However, the manager, who is also the owner, was insisting on a cash refund or changing the payee to her name, which I refused because I dont want to run the risk of another party asking for refund. They have closed the corporate account . What should I do to make both of us happy?
