Good day!
Is there a possible case that can be filed to a resigned employee that has unliquidated/unreturned cash advances from the company he/she's been separated from for at least 1 year?

If yes, what kind of complain and what if he/she expresses that he/she is willing to pay the unreteurned amount in installment..

it can be a collection case or a criminal case, depending on the facts. installment would be best to make payment possible

What's the difference between collection case and criminal case? Can the company put interest on the unliquidated advances and how long an employee can pay the amount in installment?

one results in just payment, the other payment and jail.

they can demand interest, but you can refuse and force them to just file a case against you. installment is based on agreement of the parties.

what will be some of the major grounds that can result for this to be considered as criminal case?
