I was just advised by my chief that i will be transferred to a lower department in 2 weeks, with a lower position and a lower salary. I will be replaced with a person that has lower rank than mine.
I decided that i just have to resign because i felt insulted professionally. My dream of pursuing a career for a better job and life for myself and my family is shattered.

Generally, demotion is allowed as a valid exercise of management prerogative, often because of an employee’s failure to comply with company productivity standards. Demotion exists when there is a reduction in salary, rank and position.

Did your employer tell you the reason why is he demoting you?

they did not tell me the reasons. they just tell me that it is the board's decision.

Di ba bawal yung diminution of benefits??o yung pagbaba ng sahod??pwede lng bumaba ang pwesto mo pero hindi pwede bawasan ang basic mo??
