Are BONUSes (company bonus, midyear bonus etc.) given by the company is a Management Prerogative?

Are Bonuses given by the company is a management prerogative?

Can it be SUBJECTIVE? Like for an instance, the management announces that it will give a mid year bonus across the company on June 2012.. then eventually some department received such while others are not.?

What is the legal right of the employee who doesn't it.?

Can they file a case in NLRC?

The only compulsary is the 13th month pay or bonus. yung ibang bonuses ay depende na sa management kung magbibigay or hindi.
