Hi, I have read on the Labor Code of the Philippines that managerial position employees are not entitled to premium pay, overtime pay, and holiday pays.. so it means that if we are required to work more than 8 hours a day, to work on a sunday, or on a holiday, we will not be given any additional pays right? But if we went absent for a day or 2 with permission, shall the company deduct our salary for those days we went absent?

depends on your contract with the company. Are you not given any kind leave benefits which you can file to compensate for the times you were absent. Working on weekends and holidays, does it constantly happen? Because there are some companies that would indicate in their job offer that you MAY be required to work during holidays or weekends. But if you have a document or some sort of proof that such case has been happening constantly, I think thats a different scenario.

Working on Sundays and holidays doesn't actually happen that often. We had an agreement at first that they won't be giving me overtime pays but they also won't deduct my salary if I happen to be absent. I was able to enjoy this kind of benefit at first but they recently deducted my salary for being absent on 2 separate days with valid reasons, they did not even give me any notice as to why they did it.
The only benefit I were given is the SIL, and a bonus maybe...

that is correct, managerial employees are not entitled to those benefits by law but the employer is not prevented from giving them
