good day. my parents are legally married. kaya lang, my father left when i was young. and then we learned na nagpakasal sa hong kong yung father ko sa iba a few years later. tanong ko lang po kung considered po ba na legal yung marriage nila? at saka is it a ground for bigamy? thank you

Nila means your father and the second wife? Their marriage is not valid. But your mom cannot file bigamy case kse di sila sa Pinas nagpakasal.

yes. my father and his second wife. ibig sabihin considered na concubine yung second wife if their marriage is not valid? kumuha kasi ako ng cenomar ng father ko, tapos nagreflect dun na nagpakasal nga sila sa hong kong. does that mean na niregister din nila dito sa pilipinas yung marriage nila? if so, may consequence ba yun? may rights pa ba yung father ko sa mga properties ng mom ko even if nagpakasal na sya sa iba sa ibang bansa? thank you

confused, this is the perfect chance to challenge the thinking that a foreign wedding will exempt you from a bigamy charge. i recommend you file your case. this is a good case because the second wedding is registered at nso.
