wala sa law school yan...you'll be studying the same law taught in san beda ateneo up and etc. sipag at tiyaga will make a difference in becoming a lawyer. be prepared to read and study 10 to 15 hours a day using several books just for one subject! kaya get ready!

the do's:
this applies even to the higher years!.read the law in its codal form..buy codals for civil code, revised penal code,1987 the constitution in rex bookstore...after reading the codals read the textbooks that explains the provision of laws. read the cases assigned to you by your professors as this will be asked in the recitation...lawschool is all about recitation so dont expect professors to spoonfeed you with lecture.. he'll be the one to the ask and you will be the one to answer..socratic method is the manner of teaching the law....all the time yan 6 times a week!

the only time that you'll be using paper and pen will be during the exams or when the professor requires you to submit a case digest.

the dont's...NEVER COME TO CLASS UNPREPARED!

memorizing the law is a big help but it is not required at least for some prof. depende kasi sa prof yan there are professors who requires verbatim memorization..pero new school na rin karamihan ng prof so i think that it is more important to be familiar and understand the law than to memorize it...

You need not memorize the laws word for word. All you need to familiarize is to know the concepts of each and every laws.In other words, just focus more on concepts. You need not use several law books.Only one law textbook will suffice.Other law books are for reference purposes only.
