I would just like to inquire if it's legal for a BPO company to assigned to an employee a 2 man's job without asking for agreement from the said employee and without proper compensation?

--I am currently working as a technical consultant with a program and as of the moment they wanted me to be train as a customer service/retention representative ---and later will be taking in calls both from the said splits --so basically I am going to be doing a 2 agents jobs but will not be getting additional compensation ---does the company have the legal right to make me comply?

hard situation. keep at it and you can be considered on a promotion track. complain, and that's a career killer.

talk to your supervisor and HR and try to get a proper agreement on what's to happen.

thanks for the reply!

Totally true --- embracing the change will get me have the job longer -- non-compliance will give them reason to kick me out of the company -- it's just too obvious though that they are cost cutting at the expense of their lowly employees ---sigh--

In other words, Hybrid-consultants.
