Hi,

I used to attend a college for my post-graduate studies but due to a class I failed I filed a Leave of Absence for one year and was AWOL after than. After two years of absence from the college, I received a notice that a case was filed against me and my previous groupmates for falsification of data in a project report. Now they are with-holding even my undergraduate transcript of records which are also under the same school.

1. Does the case still apply for me since I am no longer going to the school?
2. Do they have a right to hold my undergraduate records even though the case was for my graduate studies?

Thank you very much!

yes, because the act was committed while you were enrolled. the withholding of the undergrad records is a gray area, but my thinking is that it is not proper if the act complained of was committed in the post grad studies
