meron bang law sa pilipinas na nagsasabi tungkol sa AWOL (absence without leave), pwede bang makulong ang empleyado kapag na-charge siya ng gnito?

Sir, pwede ba kong makahingi ng kopya ng sample of termination letter dahil po ung isa naming svr nakakulong po cia as of today sa kasong sexual harrasment and positive po cia sa drug test na ginawa ng company last month lang. at last year lang din po meron din ciang same case... at my makukuha po b ciang bnfits sa cmpany since regular po cia. thank you po

good day!
i would like to seek legal advice regarding grounds for disapproving and denying sick and vacation leaves.

i am a staff nurse on a government owned hosptal for 2 years. here is my case......i was absent for 1 day, i informed the supervisor hours prior to my shift that i will be absent, my supervisor acknowledge my prior notice. the following day, i reported immediately to work and submitted the sick leave form.upon my submission my supervisor said that it will be denied,and as a sanction for my absence request offs for the whole succeeding month will not be granted.

there are no rules or policies regarding this sanction on our policy manual.

recently, our nursing service office made a policy with no memo or whatsoever,policy verbally made that states that request offs will not be granted if: 1. absent during the following days specifically, friday, saturday, sunday, monday 2. failure to attend or absent during seminars

is it legal? anu po ba ang grounds para ideny ang sick and vacation leave.....

klarcy, there are no clear rules about this except reasonableness. perhaps a report to dole or the CSC will be the best remedy

Badly need your help sir/mam

I had several absences from work. I used my SLs and VLs. Whenever po naman na mag-absent ako is due to illness. At pag ganun po ay nagpapacheck-up kasi requirement ang medical certificate. Then pag pumasok na ko kinabukasan, sasabihin na hindi valid reason ko although may med cert ako. It happened several times na. Tapos this last March 16-18 I went to Boracay. Nag-apply na ko ng VL para dito 2 months ago. It was not approved kasi daw madami naka-linya pa. Di ako pinayagan, pero tumuloy ako kasi I already bought a ticket. Ngayon, sinasabi nila na insubordination naman daw. Hindi naman sa di ko pinapahalagahan work ko pero parang di na tama? Tapos hinihingi nila lahat ng contact numbers sa phone ko para daw mamonitor daily activities at kung bakit umaabsent. Tama pa po ba ito? hindi ko po alam gagawin ko.

Good afternoon po. I was absent yesterday sa work and it was classified as absence without leave because I didn't inform any of our supervisors about my absence. Actually di ko naman intensyon na umabsent. I was on my way to work na talaga kaso dahil sa sobrang traffic alam ko late na ako talaga and it's my forth late since the year started. Sa policy ng company yung fourth late mo for the first half the year will be sanctioned to a one-day salary deduction so uwuwi na lang ako kesa mapenalize ng ganon. Then today sabi sa akin ng manager namin, ang sanction naman daw ng absence without leave is 3 days worth of salary. Legal po ba yung mga gantong deductions? Please help.

meekayl, the company is within its rights to reject your leave application and you can be disciplined for pushing on with your vacation. however, it is not right that they ask for your contacts.

fair, salary deductions are not allowed without the consent of the employee
