Extra Judicial Settlement but the TCT will be named to surviving spouse only

Dear atty. Just want to seek legal advise on this. The TCT was in the name of my dad and mom. My dad died 6 years ago and the TCT is still under the couples' name. We are eight children and nobody wanted to have a share anymore on the property as we all have our own house. All of us wanted to make our Mom the sole owner of the property. Do we (siblings) need to sign the extra judicial settlement even if we will have no future ownership to property? Since my mom is already named in the old TCT, will she still need to undergo extra judicial process just to remove the name of my dad in the TCT? thanks and God bless.

yes, extrajudicial settlement is still required and all the kids can just waive their shares in general.
