good day po, just would like to inquire what will be the reckoning date or the basis of BIR for the computation of capital gains tax and doc stamp tax for the purpose of transfer of title via Deed of Sale. Pls. note that the seller is in US and the property is located in Quezon City.

Appreciate your response. Thanks and have a nice day ahead.

thank you for your reply atty. May I ask, since it will be a double notarization deed of sale, the date of notarization that will be followed is the one executed in the Phils.? is that correct atty.? Does the deed of sale has to be consularized since the seller in US? What citizenship(Filipo or American) will he used in the document?
