Hi! I just signed a franchise agreement and paid in full the franchise fee as required in my contract. However, I found out recently that my franchiser made a "misrepresentation" (specifically on his business' revenue and net income level) in order to persuade me to sign up to his franchise.

I wish to get out of this agreement. I would like to know:

What are the legal steps / actions to take so I can get the agreement rescinded and hopefully get my money back?

And what criminal charges can I file against this franchiser?

I'd greatly appreciate your help on this.
