i am worried after learning of the supreme court decision this december 2011 affirming ejection of all residents on the lot where my house was erected.

We have notarized contract in 1997 with the first party(now deceased)signed with heirs (now claimant)re; purchase a parcel of lot (400.0 sq mtrs) on the subject lot and have series of payments with signature each time i pay. I only stop paying in 2004 when the first party cannot produce legal instrument as to ownership/right over the lot.

In 2009, all the residents in the subject lot received (including me)ejectment notice as per filed case of the claimant heirs, of which affirmed by the SC.

Am i protected by the contract we have?

How can i use our contract to refrain from demolition?
Please enlighten us

are you or the person you bought it from one of the respondents in the case? if so, and the case already reached the SC, then there's nothing much do be done now on the legal side

Thank you very much for the reply, AttyLLL.

however, i still have follow up questions,

1. does a single ejectment case filed against all affected residents also treated as an individual case against me?

2. can our existing contract be of use for a sort of petition to refrain from demolition?

3. Can i file a case breach of contract in case the claimant refuse to sell the lot where i erected my house?

please help!

1)i can't answer that without reviewing the case
2) i doubt it
3) yes, but isn't the other party dead?
