What case may I file to Laundry shop owner and it's workers, who changed my expensive clothing with cheap ones. When I asked for my own clothes, the owner intimidated me. Her workers pointed their fingers at me, humiliated me and intimidated me by punding the table (Yun workers naman nya dinuro duro ako, pinahiya, tinakot sa paghampas hampas sa table.) The owner coerced me and forced me to write my name in a piece of paper, and told me that she will call the baranggay, so I will no longer claim for my clothes. (At yun may-ari naman tinakot ako at pinipipuilit isulat ang pangalan ko sa papel at ako yun ipapa baranggay nila,) I wan't claim for my clothes and for them to retun if not, pay for, in case they won't be able to return my clothes which I need to go for a job interview. I'm a solo mom and need to find decent job and can't buy another set of working clothes as of the moment.Sad

Dear AttyLLL,

I personally pick up the laundry, and when I saw that what they are giving me are different(same color, but really awfully different), I returned it right upfront, and demanded, that I get what are really mine. When I spoke to the owner and workers, they insisted that I'm mistaken. And whenever I go to the Laundry shop, they will just say that we will meet at the Baranngay to shoo me away.. Embarassed

They have 2 Job Orders. No O.R. , Dunno if they have busienss permit, VAT REgistration, etc. Nothing is posted on the wall of the LAundry shop.. Sad

I gave them back the wrong clothes, and insisted that they give me what are really mine, but they force me to write my name on a piece of paper for the baranggay, while all the workers surround me. The receiving laundry woman, pointed fingers at me and pounding the table , while shouting at me, to scare me away. Embarassed

filing a complaint at the bgy can be a good first move, and required if you live in the same city or municipality.
