good day!!! just want to ask how can i ask and get support from my baby's father. my baby is 7 month old and illegitimate but her father acknowledge her.

and the other thing is nkabuntis na nmn po ung father ng baby ko...from the start di sya nagbibigay sa anak nmen...and ayw nya pa ipakilala sa parents nya...he's reason is di pa stable ung work nya...do u think need ko na ipaalam sa parents nya na may anak kme? the other woman went to their house na...sya tuloy ung alam,ung anak tyuloy nla ang kilala...what will i do?

WE HAVE almost the same situation. my husband may anak xa sa una 4 years ol, gamit apelyido nya, tas may anak kmi 3years old, iniwan nya ko before kya apelyido ko gamit ng bata, bumalik xa skn at inacknoledge baby namin thru ra 9255 at nagamit apelyido nya tas ngpakasal kmi last month lng ngaun di ko alam kung un baby ko ba ay legitimate dhl ngpaksal na kmi at kung legitimate ba un unang bata dahil un ang nauna. tapos ngaun may dalawa pang babae na ngssbing naanakan nya pero di nya inacklowdge parehas. babaero grabe noh?

@tunacat: after reading your post, i don't know whether it is a legal problem inasmuch as it is a matter of personal judgment. the guy appears to be a an unrepentant wastrel and bigamist/lothario. but addressing your problem, it depends whether he married the mother of the first child or not, as to whether the 4 year old is legitimate. i will presume that the said child is illegitimate because you would not have been married without a CENOMAR. your child is also of course illegitimate because your marriage came later. you need to have the child legitimated first.

lately nag aaway na kme ng father ng baby ko dahil ayaw pa talaga nya ipakilala ung baby nmen sa family nya...i told him na cge papayag ako but he will support the child na lng,but ayaw din nya...ano ba pwd ko isampa sa knya? please help

legitimation is a different process from recognition by the father. but that can be governed by a simple administrative petition with the NSO.

atty pwede po ako mag bigay ng demand letter miski hindi naka pirma ang tatay ng anak ko sa birth certificate? Hindi niya ni-recognize po yun bata. Kung pwede ako mag bigay ng demand letter, kailangan ba lawyer ang gagawa nito? kung sakali po, pano po kung di niya pinansin yun demand letter?

if he denies being the father, your remedy is to file a case of filiation to prove that he is the father and get support

Im not sure pero i think kailangan dyan is adoption process. im not sure ha.

atty.gusto ko lang po sanang malaman kung paano po ang proseso para makakuha ako ng child support para sa 14yr.old son ko.. hes dad is in the us (california)..actually my son is under my surname pero nakapirma po sa acknowledgement sa likod ng birth cert. nya ang ex fiancee ko plus in the baptismal..i still have some letters from before to support my stories about him being the biological father..pls.po what and where should i go..kelangan ko ba dumulog sa us embassy?
