My son got involved in a vehicular accident. his car has a comprehensive insurance. what is the role of the insurance for the injured person? Should my son pay first for the hospitalization expenses of the injured then reimburse it or the insurance company must take care of it?

he should coordinate closely with the insurance company. often they will only reimburse with official receipts.

don't let the expenses of the injured person go overboard. make sure you are aware of the amount covered by the insurance for the kind of injury sustained.
