why do you want to become a lawyer?

Bakit nga ba gusto komaging Abogado. Mula palang pagka graduate ko ng college gusto ko na mag law, pero dikasya ang sueldo ko na 575 pesos noong 1979 sa Makati. Nag asawa ako, nagkapamilya, nag paaral. Nag trabaho sa abroad, ngayon tapos na ang dalawa at sila naman ang nasa abroad, ako na rin ang Student ulit, ipag patuloy ko ang naudlot kong pangarap na maging abogado despite of many hardship sa pag aaral, nasimulan ko na kailangan tatapusin ko, and hopefully maka one take lang din ng BAR exam, kaya salamat sa tulong ang site na ito and dami ring mababait na nag sha share ng review materials or whatever related to law subjects necessary for a student and for Bar reviewees. Only few days ago I stumbled to this website and thanks God for the rich infos hereon. Maraming salamat po, mabuhay kayo at pagpalain kayo ng Panginoong Diyos.

Hehehe! redpula, napatawa mo ako sa magandang mga sagot mo why you want to become a lawyer. Oo nga naman repitition make you perfect. Ang di ko lang maunawaan minsan may instances na passed ka midterm and final exam at maganda pa recitation bakit bumagsak pa ang iba, pero may tahimik lang buong semester, pala absent pa eh passing. May mga bagay na di ma explain minsan kung bakit, baka kako baka a Question of Law or Fact o di kaya human error ng prof. But failing sometimes in the class should not serve as a discouragement but instead an encouragement.

attyLLL sir, encourage ako sa statements ninyo, I feel more lively in continuing my law even I am almost the oldest member of my class.

Is older age won't affect the decision of the examiner in passing the examinee if he/she is really qualified or got a good exam results in the Bar. Wala po bang bias between and old and a very young student, am just wondering at nagtatanong lang ng good opinion po from your side. thank you

sa laki na ng sakripisyo ko sa pag aaral ng LAW..... gusto ko ng maging lawyer.... dati kc laro laro lang... na bored lang ako nuon kaya ako nag enrol.... pero ngayon, i realized, NOBLE profession ang LAW PRACTICE....... bukod sa walang seryosohan, dahil practice lang (hehehe) nagiging humble at disciplined and isang taong may competent knowledge sa mga batas.

i was once asked by my professor the same question. i answered in the most honest way i can but he just laughed at me because maybe he thinks all those who aspire to become lawyer can not have a noble purpose so i better keep my answer in me. anyway lawyering is not a big deal for me. i just want to make a shot. if by chance or by miracle that i will become one then i would be thankful to god for that but if he thinks i should not be one then so be it.

I wanna defend not for money.and besides I'm always alone. No one's defending me. So, I should know how to take care of myself.

Becoming a lawyer in today's society is a noble goal to undertake. There are many jokes about lawyers that we all have heard, but the truth is, it takes a lot of work to become a an attorney. Pursuing a career as an attorney allows one to experience the gift of helping people in ways that most people are unable to. If your heart ever goes out to struggling individual's legal battles, then this career may just be for you.

To get into law school, you must first have an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution. Unlike Medical school, there is not really a certain type of major that is required at this time of writing. Some may major in pre-law which focuses on the government, criminal justice and aspects of politics. But it would be perfectly fine to major in math or history.

Gusto ko maging lawyer dahil gusto ko iangat ang pagkatao ko dahil ilang beses nako inapi at minaliit ng mga mata pobreng kamag-anak ko,manglolokong asawa at mukhang perang mga byenan.gusto ko rin makita at makasama ang anak ko na ayaw ipahiram sakin dahil mahirap lang ako.Gusto ko ipagtangol ang karapatan ko at tulungan ang mga kagaya kong naapi.Gusto ko ipakita na ang isang pangarap ay pwedeng magakatotoo sa taong masikap.

sir hindi ba nakaka pressure masyado pag ganyan. maraming umaasa saung maging lawyer. ako din madaming umaasa sa akin kaya nahihirapan na rin po ako sa sobrang pressure

At least kay sanchez roman magiging first lawyer pa lang siya... Hindi pa masyado pressure yun..
Kung baga... happy family niya pag naging lawyer siya, yun lang.
Mas may pressure sa mga anak ng abogado tapos yung parents nila DAKILANG TAKE ONE pa sa bar...
BUt I think it is better to have pressure than to have none. Pero wag lang sobra.

yes,one advantage nga po na lawyer ang parents mo is that u can always ask them anytime re ur studies. but grabe tlg ang pressure lalo na kung ang dad/mom mo eh kilalang lawyer or nasa mataas na katungkulan sa govt and known as a good and great lawyer.. like my sister,she's only 1st year sa law school but everytime na mag.eexam na sila 2 weeks xang iiyak sakin.. hehehe naprepressure.. kc nga ung dad namin is a lawyer in one of the govt. agency.. i cant blame her. eventhough there is no pressure from my parents and full support sila, still andun parin ung expectations ng lahat dahil anak ka.. and to think 1 taker lng ung dad nmin at ung tito namin..pressure tlg ang hirap.. pag ako nga maglolaw na kung kailangan at kung pwede i plan not to tell everyone.. pasikreto para di maxado pressure.. pero xempre malalaman pa rin un.. hehehe

a number of reasons, the foremost of which is to find good legal solutions to the problems our province is facing. With the prayers that I had way back 2009, my wish to become a student of up law was granted. now, i just have to study hard. learning from all the cases is what motivates me the most apart from my desire to help our province later in life. good thing, as i progress in law school, i am learning more and more...

Well I just graduated from college and while I wait for the release of my TOR and diploma, I figured I go to law school instead of being a bum while I wait for it.

So far, it's proven to be challenging...

bakit nga ba? sa katunayan di pa ako nagaaral, pero binabalak ko na magenroll next year..

I want to become a lawyer because.....
Wait I don't want to. I NEED to. that's how compassionate I am about it. It is no longer a want, it is already a need. It is for my ultimate satisfaction. A satisfaction that I long for all my life.

examine the profession and see if it is what you want to do for a long time. it is an investment of your time and effort. if you think its not for you, then don't. it has perks such as status and money, but you must be prepared for the ethical and professional demands on you.

I wanted to become a lawyer before but now i am really thinking twice. If you just want to make money, then being a lawyer is a well compensated job. But if you want real fulfillment in what you do, then this is not the job for you. Law practice here is just as dirty as politics. It's all about who has more money or more connections and not about who knows the law better. The same thing goes if you want to feel safer. Being a lawyer will not give you or your family better security than having tons of money.

gusto maging pulis/nbi at syempre maging abugado para mas maging mataas yung rank ko as law enforcer.
