applying for philhealth but cannot make son dependent

dear atty i have wrote before on this site regarding my separation with my husband (not legally. this is my querry now - i was forced to file an application for philhealth however, i cannot file it with my son as dependent because they said he was already declared by my husband. i tried to contact my estranged husband regarding the situation but he wouldnt answer back. philhealth told me to have my husband file an omission of his son as his dependent and me as well. he wouldnt cooperate whatsoever. what do you think i should do? pls help i needed the philhealth application badly. thank you very much again and more power.

is this a situation where if if your son became sick, he would not attend to helping with philhealth?

if he's not sending support, threaten him that you will file a case for support and economic abuse. if he still does not respond, there is no shortcut to compel philhealth.

yes atty that's the reason why im applying for philhealth because he's not giving any support to his family so if ever my son gets sick we wont be able to use my philhealth for this matter. i have warned him many times that i will file an affidavit of abandonment to force him to support us but to no avail. he does not respond to any of my request. i do not have enough finances to get a lawyer so i just send him a msg from time to time for possible support but no response from him. its been two years now since he abandon us/ thank you very much sir for your time.

try seeking help from the PAO or legal aid office of the IBP or law schools.

I need your assistance, i am Philhealth Member, and my son was hospitalized last Sept11-14, and he is my beneficiary and he was confined for Surgery of his Appendicitis in Morong PRov. Hospital - Public hospital in Rizal. After 2 mos., i found out my reimbursement was paid under the named of Hospital. They applied the case rate (fix amount which is Php24,000 for appendectomy). Per philhealth they used to implement it now in government hospital to accommodate the patient, without spending their own money. But in my case, Morong Prov. Hospital, has no capability to support my son, to medicines,supplies and laboratory expenses. I am the one who shoulder the hospital expenses during his confinement, and now, i almost waiting and waiting for them to reimbursement my expenses, and it will still be subject for auditing per the municipal or central district of Rizal, before i claim the said reimbursement. Is there any grounds for this on the part of PHilhealth?Please help,thanks
