Hi. My friend has an existing warrant of arrest for bp22 estafa. i read in some of the previous threads here that you can send an authorize representative to get your NBI clearance. wouldn't the agents in NBI harass the representative to get the details of the one who sent him? if the rep was advised that the name is a hit and asked him/her to come back on a certain date. can the rep also be the one to come back for it and not the actual applicant? what do they tell you once the rep comes back again on the given date? anyhow, is an auth letter all that's needed to send a representative? no need for an id from the applicant? Lastly, from what u know, do they really arrest people on the spot in NBI once they come back after a hit if they have already confirmed that the person has a standing warrant for estafa? Thanks and more power!

i've not heard of anyone being arrested on the spot. the sending of a representative to claim the clearance is a gambit. if they wont allow it, then too bad. most of the time, the persons who face you are not from the nbi, but from the service provider.
