around how much amount of money will a company spend if they will file a case against me because of breach of contract?

background: i signed a contract that i should serve 2 months notice but i just did 1 month notice. so now they are going to file a case against me unless i pay 150k. which i am hesitant to do.

how much time and money are they going to spend if they push through this?

it depends which lawyer they retain, but filing fees will be around 3% of the claim

Hi,

hope you can help me into my case.. re breach of contract
Im working in this IT company for about 9 months. currently nka deploy ako sa client when i file my resignation. I understand na naka indicate sa contract ko n 60days ung turnover. and ung nilagay ko lng sa letter is 30days lng. which right after i filled for the letter. tinaggap naman ng immediate superior ko ung resignation letter ko. so im under into the assumption n 30days lang ako..

right now hindi pa tapos ung 30days ko.. ngpadala sa akin ng letter na breach of contract ako.. and hindi na din ako pedeng magextend up to 60 days n sinasabi nila kasi nagsign nako ng contract sa ibang company..

please advise.

this matter has not been completely settled. the law allows you to resign with 30 day notice. if i were your lawyer, i would argue that you did not receive any extra compensation to justify the extra 30 days.

in any case, they might hold your last pay. you would have to file a c money claim at nlrc.
