in connection with my earlier post,
the contract states that i'd have to pay 20 grand if i resign without the approval of the school. if i don't have the money, can they make me pay?
and even though i know for sure that they will not approve of my resignation, what's the best way to get out of the situation? please help. thanks. oh, and what's IMO?

i was recently employed as a teacher at a preschool here in the country. upon my employment, i signed a two year contract that says i have to pay "damages" if i resign before the end of the agreement. i am still on probation for six month, for regularization on the sixth month.

if i do resign, do i really have to pay for the "damages" i would have caused? their contract was not signed by a lawyer, i dont have an original copy of it yet. i am not happy with my work and i plan to resign by the end of the school year. any advice is appreciated. thank you very much
