Hi,
Could someone help me regarding the settlement of my late dad's properties?
My dad passed away in 2004. All of his property (including conjugal property) were not settled up to this time. My mother insists that we would get our share when she passes away. I believe this is not the case as there is a process wherein once we have settled and agreed upon our share of my dad's properties, we immediately get our share after my mother has paid all the taxes and the corresponding fees.
How can I compel her to settle everything? I fear that she may be using all of the assets of my father to cater only to her needs and wants.
