need legal advice..

hi po. i would like to ask po. previously i worked po in a financing firm as a documentation mngr and part po ng job ko ay mag testify sa court as witness if in case may case na na-file ang company sa client namin. and also, we used to send letter to client as reminder po and i am the signatory sa letter if they fail to pay their daily payment. ask ko lang po, there was time na, may 1 client po kc na kinasuhan ng company namin and of course, may mga naging hearing po. then sabi po nung client namin, mag file daw cya ng kasong perjury against me.. now that i no longer connected sa company, can this person still sue me for perjury?

yes, because it doesn't matter if you are no longer with the company. whether it will prosper depends on the evidence.

that person said, sinungaling daw ako kc dko naman daw nakita na cya ang pumirma ng promissory note at deed of chattel mortgage nya kc po that time sa head office pa po ako nka assign at sa cebu po ung branch na ng witness ako. but as per documents, andon naman po ung signature nya pati ng anak nya as co-maker. same signature sa Or/cr ng sasakyan nila na naka-mortgage sa company. actually, the documents will speak for itself naman kc po, when we presented the documents sa court attached to the complaint, ung tao po na kinasuhan ng company, acknowledged that the signature sa PN at chattel mortgage ay sa kanya... wala naman kc ako magawa, d ako pde tumanggi kc part ng trabaho ko yon as documentation manager at liaison officer
