Hi

Im am seeking legal advice, my sister is working in the pawnshop and her company now threating to sue (qualified theft) her. The company found out that she pawned some fake jewelries. Una po payag na po sila na tubusin pero mukhang sa ngayon gusto na nila ituloy ang kaso. Ano po puwede pa namin gawin para hindi na matuloy ang kaso?

what do you mean she pawned fakes? she accepted fakes as collateral? if so, that is estafa or falsification, not theft.

the only way to stop the case is to enter into a settlement.
