Hi Attorney.

We recently purchased a property and title is under my father in-law's name as we are out of the country. What can we do in order to transfer it to our name? What are the procedures/forms needed and cost if we will process it? Thanks.

has the title been already issued in his name or there is only a contract?

the proper way would have been to issue a SPA by executing it before the philippine embassy so you can authorize your father to transact in your behalf.
