My fellow homeowners want to file a petition that a certain tenant be ban on entering our subdivision or be expel in our subdivision, because this lady has so many debt on almost all of the homeowners in our street. In fact, one of the HO is complaining that she didn't even pay her rental for about 5 months and she let the lighting and water to be cut. Now, she living on the other street and doing the same to neighbors and lessor.

Is this legal? Did we violate any constitutional right when we do it?

in my opinion, you are making yourself vulnerable to a libel or slander charge.

what are the rights of the homeowners who are willing to file charges against this lady? what was the best thing to do in order to collect their money and to protect other homeowners to be victimize from this lady?
