[i just got my birth certificate from NSO. i] my birth date here upon examination appeared to be june1 while all my documents i am using is june 3. what step should i take to correct the date. do i need legal remedy or just fix it at the LCR ? i'm just worried it might cause problem in the future .

you can go to the LCR where you are registered and file a correction of entries. bring some proof (legal document)that bears the june 3 birthdate

atty how about if the wrong birth year and birth place was registered? is there any remedy to correct those? i am using it for a long years here in abroad. i want it to be correct this time. what will i do? thanks

My friend hasc the same problem with the sex. there is no sex on the birth certificate. what should she do?

how about if there is sex but instead of female they put male?

those with reference to wrong birthdate and wrong gender will have to undergo a full blown court petition for correction of entries.
