good morning po Atty. i have a problem, may ka live in ako the shes about to give birth next day, ang prblema ko ay pwede ba madala ang apilido o sa aing ana, then pwede ba akong maka stand as a father of the baby, then pwede ba ako maka pirma sa birth certificate? then widow sya the she enjoyed her pension, hindi ba delikado ma cut ang pension? pero hindi pa kami kasal.. salamat po Attorney..

since hindi pa kayo kasal, gawa ka na lang nang affidavit of acknowledgement, thru this affidavit, pwede na magamit nang bata ang apelyido mo, pero ang apelyido pa din nang babae ang dapat nakalagay sa Birth Certificate, usually, sa birth certificate na din naka-indicate na may na-execute na affidavit of acknowledgement. With regard sa pension, naka-saad sa Social Security Act na ang pension nang Beneficiary-Widow ay matatanggal lang kung siya ay magpapakasal muli.

initiate an affidavit of acknowledgment now with the Authority to Use Surname of the Father, but put that on hold.

When the child is born, register him with only the mother's details. Once it appears in the NSO file the Affidavit of acknowledgment and the AUSF so the child can use the father's surname
