Arresto Menor

Sir/Maam,
I'm currently on preventive suspension as a Supervisor working in a call center. I just want to know what grounds can i charge someone who lied about circumstancial evidences that have lead that i'm involved with the allegation? to give you an example, as a supervisor we have an authorization code when the agents do callout. The agent admitted that he got the authorization code from someone else. But they were not satisfied with the agent's answer, so they investigated further. They escalated it to IT department to check my phone activity. There was a screen shot that i didnt use my authorization code. HOWEVER, after 2 days while i was on vacation leave, a manager of mine went to our director and claimed that i requested to change my auth code after the callout of the agent. i requested it through phone conversation where IT did not confirm that there was a request of mine. She said that it's odd that i change my auth code which triggers for them to place me on Preventive suspension without further proof of findings. so parang may nag create po ng issue para pagdudahan ako at madiin ako sa case. ano po pwedeng legal charge sa taong un? defamation of character po ba?

i don't see how requesting for a change of of authorization code, whether true of not is correct basis to say there is a threat to the company. what damage can be done by changing the code? did you really ask for a new code?

i would not consider it oral defamation unless you can prove that it was done with malicious intent. the matter was brought before management who had the authority to act upon the information.

for now, i recommend you focus on preparing your explanation and your defense.
