Hi. I am a Filipina married to a foreigner. We purchased a number of properties, which under Filo law have my name on the Deed, but his name listed as my spouse on the contracts.

We have since separated and I wish to sell the properties so we can dissolve the marriage under Australian law. He says he will refuse to give his 'permission' for me to sell the properties.

Do I need his permission to sell the properties as my name is on the Deed or do i need his consent?

If not, great, if so, what happens if he permanently refuses to give consent?

Thanks in advance..

no, you do not need his consent. argue that under philippine law, these are your sole properties.
