I am married, and separated for 6 years since 2005. I would like to know if it is legally accepted in our law if i will convert my religion from Catholic to Muslim and marry to a Muslim wedding ceremony even without the annulment of my first marriage?

Your kind attention is truly appreciated.

Thanks,

Maya

i'm afraid i am not an expert in sharia law. not clear if you are the eife or husband, but i don't think the woman is allowed to have multiple partners.

I am woman, so if I will convert my religion from Catholic to Muslim and marry my Muslim fiancee in Muslim Wedding Ceremony, is that legally accepted by our law in the Philippines?

Waiting for your reply.

Thanks,

you really have to inquire with a sharia lawyer. but again, i don't believe the woman is allowed to have multiple spouses.
