A couple obtains a marriage license, signs the contract of marriage before several witnesses but there is no actual wedding ceremony, instead the minister just signs the certificate of marriage without actually seeing the couple. Is this marriage valid? if it is not, what can one of the contracting parties do to declare the marriage null and void?
