Please advice if this couple could have a legal marriage under phillippine law.
example: im the girl and the guy; son of my grandfather's sister on my father's side.

Could this be a legal marriage?

I think, its against the law of the church..and at the same time your nearly relatives... Neutral

Under the Family Code, a marriage between collateral blood relatives, whether legitimate or illegitimate, up to the fourth civil degree shall be void from the beginning.

Base from the given problem, the relationship of the guy and the girl is not within the fourth civil degree. Hence, they can validly marry under our civil laws.
