I do wanted to published an article about a corrupt person I know. i do wanted to use "aliases" to my characters. my question is, if the person depicting, can charge me, with a LIBEL Case? Im not using their real name though...

Its an essay of personal experience, Im looking forward to be consider for publication in major papers

just make sure it is not possible to determine who it was even if you did not use the real name, like blind item.

I will surely put my name and my address..

if ever the person Im writing about, would have an Inkling that they are the one, Im Talking about...due to my name (the writer) or the common places, which they may felt connected with..

Could they sue me?

if they did, your defense will still be that the element of identification is missing. it is not enough that the complainant can recognize himself, others must also be able to do so.
