Nag sign ako ng consultant contract at gusto ko lang sana i cancel kasi may mas maganda akong offer sa iba. Ask ko lang kung ano ang mga consequences pag di ko na tinuloy yubg pag pasok ko from company A? Makakasuhan ba ako or na baban? Thanks sa mag rereply.!

May nakalagay na clause na 30 days notice. Pero di pa naman ako nakakapag start. At meron din nakalagay na company may terminate the contract any time. Since independent consultant nga yung status ko.

This Agreement shall take effect immediately upon execution and will remain in effect
for the period of the Contract with the Client. This Agreement may be modified or
terminated as provided herein. This agreement may be renewed on the expiration of the
Contract with the client at the discretion of the Company and/or Independent
Consultant.

May nakalagay na ganito. Does it mean na hindi pa talaga effective yung contract hanggat di pa ako nag start?

Ok thanks kyle. Depende nalang siguro talaga sa company kung hahabulin pa nila ako once na icancel ko. Ano ba ma susugest nyo na pwede kong gawin? Hindi talaga ako sure kay company A since consultancy, maganda lang offer kaya ako nag sign.

the chances of them going after you is very slim. It doesn't make sense financially, if ever they would only do this to make a point. Pero if they do its going to be a real hassle for you, you have to attend hearings and your present employer may decide against retaining you
