Hi atty. Ask ko lang sana. A city prosecutor sent me a subpoena for ESTAFA/ BP22 kaso the attachments/ complainants sworn statement refers to other person. Kaya instead of a counter affidavit nag personal message nalang ako asking for verification regarding the matter.
Now, instead of mailing to my address yung response nila. Pinadala nila sa Municipal Police namin address to Chief of Police. Question ko po, is it proper ba attorney that a subpoena will be coursethrough sa Police? Is it a form of harrasment? Do I need to seek a lawyer na this time?
