Claims for Damages

Hi, there! Good day. We were currently involved in an accident at SCTEX and we are the one who got to hit the car in front of us.

We agreed to pay for the leaves as well as other expenses (e.g. gas, toll going to Pampanga to get the report and his daily transpo expenses while going to and from work while his car is on casa) he incurred to get his car fixed. I asked him to provide me such documents below to prove his claim:

1. Daily time record
2. Rate per day - payslips
3. Approve leave forms
4. OR for expenses incurred
5. Insurance participation fee
6. OR from hyundai with breakdown of service

In addition, he was asking us to also to pay his insurance. I did not agree with him coz whether he did or did not get involved in an accident, he still pays his insurance.

Is it right to get these documents from him? Are we also allowed to verify/confirm from his company's HR about his daily rate and his dtr (coz he might falsify such documents when getting his claims)?

What may be the other actions for this coz i am afraid he might overcharge us?
