Passport (DFA)- Suspended

Hi, I need legal advise about my currently suspended passport.

When I was 20 years old, I applied for a passport with fake birth certificate to show that I am already 21 years old. After the application, I did not care to claim it so it has been voided after 6 months. Now that I am working, I am required to get a passport. When I re-applied with the right information (including valid/true birth certificate), it got suspended. I called their customer services and was advised for possible reasons- that there may be a hit, same name as mine and so on. The old passport I applied for then came into my mind which could have caused this.

What can I do to fix this? Should I go to the DFA Director's Office? Will I get penalties for it?

don't speculate, just go to dfa and go through the interview. you don't have to admit anything about the first applicatoin

Hello po atty...hihingi lng din po ako ng advice..sakin po unang ginamit ko po na passport eh ung real name ko nung 2011 papuntang middle east na deport po ako dun at sa kagustuhang bumalik ulit sa same na country kc sanay na po ako dun ngpatulong ako pra mkagawa ng ibang passport at nkalabas parin ako ng ibang bansa gamit ibang name ng passport nung 2014..bumalik ako pinas 2017. Balak ko na po isurender at dina gamitin ang ibang name kya nerenew ko po 22o kung passport at ok po ung processing..nadali po ako nung releasing na sana 2018 ngtxt po c dfa sabi po Your passport application has been suspended due to an assumed identity case..

Advice po atty..kc gusto ko po ituwid pagkakamali ko at gusto ko po mkakuha ulit ng passport gmit real name ko...my ibang paraan po ba? Badly needed po tlga....nag inquire na po ako sa isang atty sa manila at prang malabo po..sabi nya lng skin na mag ask sa dfa kung ung gamit ko na ibang passport eh nka watch list..bka mkalabas pa daw ako gamit un pro hindi ko nrin pwd i'renew...anu po dpat? Ayaw ko na po ulitin ang pagkakamali ko..
