Hi I'm having a problem with my condo rightnow. My condo is now ready to transfer ownership. But my developer is asking me to pay a misc fee.

Documentary Stamp : 46, 005.00
Transfer Tax : 22, 999.61
Registration Fee : 23,006
Notarial and Processing Fee : 15, 000
RPT Due : 0.00
Meralco Service and Bills Deposits : 10,219
Toal : 117,229.61

Is this right? or is it over price?

Hello po,

How much is the amount on the Deed of Absolute Sale? You may be able to compute for the Doc Stamp and the transfer tax yourself. Doc Stamp is now 3% of DOAS price (used to be 1.5%) and transfer tax is DOAS Amount/200 (at the LGU). Exclusive of penalties. Reg fee is at the RD, don't know the computation for that. You may be able to check whether the developer's charge is near yours.
