sir tanog ko lang po... last 2016 po ay nagloan ako sa homecredit ng 25k pocket money ko papunta ng US monthly ko binabayaran yung ng 2100 at ipinapadala ko po sa friend ko yung pambayad at ang ang alam ko po at tapos ko ng bayadan yung utang ko sa ho me credit ngaun po last Feb nakatanggap po ng demand letter yung nanay ko stating na may utang daw po akong 36k kaya nagulat po ako kasi ang alam ko po ay bayad na ako at wala po akong utang sa Pinas. hinde ko na din mo makontak yung friend ko regards sa mga ipinadala ko sa kanyang pambayad dahil hinde po alam ng family ko na nagloan ako.

ano po bang dapat kong gawin. ayoko pong magkaroon ng bad record sa Pinas. at may chance daw po na ma revoke yung visa bilang isang immigrant dito sa US

Your "friend" must have pocketed the amount you were sending him, unfortunately.

Contact Home Credit and explain what happened. Ask them how much remaining balance you have to pay for your debt to them, and if it can be restructured in a way that can accommodate your current financial status.

Try to find out what happened to your friend and try to get in touch with him through your other friends. He must be made liable to the outstanding balance you have with Home Credit. File a case against him in court if need be, for collection of a sum of money.

As far as I know, having debts in the Philippines may possibly affect your VISA application only if the immigration department thoroughly checks your record in the Philippines. Di naman agad nagfifile ng collection case yung Home Credit sa courts, usually dinadaan sa mga collection agencies nila yung pangongolekta ng utang.
