Just want to ask if being a witness of a crime can exempt me from a criminal liability that might arise when I testified against a person knowingly the punishment for the crime is in the category of grave felony.

Thanks in advance

This will have to be bargained with the prosecution.

the answer is no, you will not be exempted. however, you can try to offer your testimony to the prosecutor and if they find it viable then they just might reduce the charges
