I had a mistress and we had a child. She is trying to extort more money from me. I am currently giving her 25,000 a month for a 6 year old child but she is demanding much much more.

She is now threatening to file a civil case and saying I can have my property seized and an attachment to my salary. The thing is I do not live in the Philippines.

Can a Philippines court make my employer in another country pay? I thought this is not possible? Also how can a Philippine court seize my property in another country?

Any help would be appreciated

Nope. even if she gets a favorable verdict from the court, the law of the Philippines cannot compel the country your at to execute their verdict.

If you have a property in the Philippines, then that might be levied. However, if ever she files her case against you, just comply with the court proceeding and provide proof that you are regularly providing support. I doubt that the court will grant her additional support if she cannot provide sufficient evidence that the child needs more than what you are providing (keep in mind that both parents should support the child).

Thanks my friend. What if I am out of the country and they try to serve me a summons and I am not there and I dont get it? Can they file in my absence claiming many things and get it heard in my absence? If so and they rule in her favour can I be blacklisted because of it?

the scenario she envisions is highly unlikely.
