My wife has a son before we got married... After a few years we had our baby of our own...

Honestly I want to give more of my properties from my hard work to our own child than my step son... Basically my wife doesn't share on the properties I've acquired... I also bought a property when I was still single..

Are there anyway I can secure that my own child will have more incase I die first before my wife?

No sir, actually that's one of my reasons why I want to know my options as my stepchild doesnt want to be legally adopted as he wants to keep his father's name.

My wife doesnt use my last name as well, if they both doesnt want to carry my name then I'll give most of my properties to my legitimate child. I dont want to be totally bias on my stepchild but I want to be in control on what my legitimate child will get.

Can it be a legal basis for me to ensure that my properties will go to my own child?
