magtatanong lang po sana ako about sa inheritance law in philippines. Im a legitimate daughter of my father who is now legally married to my step mom.

Meron pong property na nakapangalan sa aking step mom, na acquire nila nung magasawa na sila ng aking ama.

Question: Can I inherit from my step mom's estate, if ever wala syang will na iniwan when she died?

Yes you can, you can inherit by way of a will or without a will.

Lets trace back, by virtue of a 2nd marriage of your father to your step mom, your status as a legitimate child continues,thus, being a legitimate child, you are entitled to successional rights BOTH from your father AND stepmother.
