Hi Atty,

Good day po. Ask ko lang po kung pede ko po ba ilagay yung work experienced ko sa resume ko kahit na nag AWOL po ako? Pero pinapa clearance pako para makakuha ng COE sa agency.

Maganda po ba yun kung ilalagay ko pa po?

Thank you po sa answer. Pero ang sabi sa agency may naka declare daw po na AWOL. Pede po ba yun? Hindi po kasi ako pinag explain ng HR namin, basta nlng sya nag declared na AWOL ako. Kasi last August 18, sabi ko kasi sa mga kasaman ko hnd ako papasok sa monday which is holiday. Hnd ako pumasok nung saturday kasi off ko po. Then Tuesday po nag declared na yung HR namin na AWOL na daw ako. Tapos po naka received po ako ng AWOL letter nung Friday lang po August 25 from agency tapos nakalagy na date dun August 24 po. Pede ko po ba ipag laban yan?

AWOL ka lang pala e. Syempre kung walang official leave ng absence mo ay AWOL talaga yun. Kaya nga Absence without Official Leave (AWOL). Iba yun sa Termination Notice. Ibig sabihin ng Termination Notice e tinanggal ka na sa kumpanya mo dahil sa Job Abandonment.

Kung naka-AWOL ka lang, ibig sabihin ay empleyado ka pa. O baka naman Termination Notice na natanggap mo?

Is there any way that Freelance tutoring can be legally certified to be used as a teaching experience in job application abroad? For COE to be valid we need to have it notarized then authenticated or 'red ribboned' by DFA. Can we produce a certificate like that as a Freelance Tutor or there's no way?

Your asking for a COE and yet you are a freelance tutor. FYI, COE connotes the existence of an employer-employee relationship and you do NOT have that relationship with your students.
