Hi I am a seamans wife, we have 2 kids, 6&4 years old. My problem is, my husband left the atm (allotment) to my sister, and not to me. Pero pinapadala naman ng sister ko sakin ung allote pag dumating eto. My point is, pwede ba ako mag file ng petition sa court na dapat sakin dumederecho ung allote since im the legal wife and andito ang mga kids ko sakin. Currently im not working because ang gusto nya umuwi kami ng probinsya. Can I file for RA 9262? Hope you could enlighten me with this.thanks

Hes onboard right now.. un din gagawin ko pero pag ayaw nya pa rin, could I file a petition na? Ayoko na maulit sa next nya na sampa na umalis siya na walang paalam. Di kami nakapag usap nun kasi di nya pinaalam sakin na aalis na siya.

Nobody is stopping you from filing a petition.

RA 9262 presupposes that there is abuse, though.
