Happy Valentines to all,

Nawawala po ang original na copy ang Title ng property namin. Nakatago lang p yon sa hindi namin alam po ay parang may nakialam at nag ka interest na nakawin. Ano po ang gagawin namin? pwede ba yon mapalitan ng new .Pwede ba nila isanla yon . Kinakabahan kasi kami baka po may magsanla sa Property namin na hindi namin alam. Pwede kaya yon.

Pwed po ba magpagawa sa Register of Deeds ng new Copy para po may hawak kami ulit na title?

i'm not sure how, but I believe you can file an affidavit at the Register of Deeds so that the title can be annotated that the owner's copy is missing.

but you will have to file a petition in court for the re-issuance of a new title.

ah ganun po ba. Paano po namin malalaman if nakasanla po yong lupa namin kasi baka yong nagnakaw ng Titolo po ay maisipan nya po isanla.Pwede ba yon kahit hindi nya pangalan yong Titolo?

you can check at the register of deeds if the title has been annotated with a mortgage
