Are Holidays (Regular and Special) be considered company's discretion as paid days off??

Good afternoon!

This is actually my second time to post my rant in here regarding our company's policy in giving their employees rest days/days off.
My concern is that, is it legal for a company to place/put its employees days off on (a) regular/special holidays?? I asked them why. They said " your days off are all paid " which means that it includes any holidays/special holidays in a month..

Any advice will be much appreciated! Thanks and more power!

Check out the labor code/law. And your contract as well. Companies or corps sometimes have a sucker punch concealed.

Yes, they could do that. They could also make schedule for a skeletal work force.
If you are required to work on said rest day which coincides with a holiday, you should get paid not only for the usual rdot rate but with additional premium.

As long as they observe the local (Phil.) labor law.
